ORGANIZATIONS THAT SUPPORT THE HEMOPHILIA COMMUNITY
Your local chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) can provide information, support, and connection to others in the hemophilia community. In addition, the many organizations listed below are active in the hemophilia community nationally and around the world.
The Coalition for Hemophilia B was founded in 1990 by Joyce and John Taylor when their son was diagnosed with hemophilia B. Its mission is to make quality of life the focal point of treatment for individuals with hemophilia in the 21st century. The National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) was founded in 1948. NHF is dedicated to finding better treatments and cures for bleeding and clotting disorders and to preventing the complications of these disorders through education, advocacy, and research.www.hemophilia.org
